A&J Teriyaki chicken thighs

Here’s a fun twist on teriyaki chicken! The combination of the marinade and the brown sugar bourbon rub gives this dish a deep, rich flavor. Short on time? Marinate for just 30 minutes while you prep the rest of your ingredients and get dinner started. Got a little extra time? Marinate longer for a bolder, more intense flavor. Want to make it all from scratch? This recipe yields 3 chicken thighs, but it is easy enough to double or triple.

Prep time: 10 mins (not including marinade time)

Cook Time: 35mins

Ingredients

Marinade:

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1.5 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 2 Tbsp lime juice

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning (see link above for homemade)

  • 3 DNA Acres chicken thighs

  • teriyaki sauce (see link above for homemade)

Directions

  1. Mix the marinade well. Let chicken thighs soak in the marinade for at least 30 minutes. Longer = Bolder flavor
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  3. Remove thighs from marinade and coat with Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning -medium coverage, you should still be able to see chicken.
  4. Bake in roasting pan (with rack if possible for even cooking). Bake for 20 mins. Pull the pan out and brush with teriyaki sauce, return to the oven. Bake until internal temp reaches 165 degrees, approximately 30-35 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
